With school shootings and youth violence on the rise, we can’t afford to ignore disturbing behavior — especially when it comes from adults who are supposed to know better.

This individual has made chilling, hateful statements directly to me about minors. While they have never said these things to my children, it raises a terrifying question: if this is the kind of language your mind can generate, how long before you act on it?

Too many people look back after a tragedy and say, “I wish I would’ve said something.”

Well, I’m saying something now. I refuse to stay silent while someone like this continues to exhibit behavior that puts lives, especially young ones, in emotional and physical danger.

We need intervention. We need accountability. We need protection for the children caught in the crossfire.
