#KeepEyesOnSudan
The campaigns of the militia and its civilian allies to disseminate misguidednarratives in an effort to justify the militia's authoritarian war and gain support; to coerce people into tolerating the systematically committed crimes and violations; and to diminish the gravity and magnitude of these violations, as evidenced by the manner in which certain actors have handled the cases of rape, the occupation of homes and civilian premises, and the looting of properties, not to mention the crimes of genocide and systematic killing based on identity, leading to famine, which the militia contributed to its causation by a large extent by looting the warehouses of relief organizations and disrupting the cultivation of more than a million acres of agricultural crops in the state of Al-Gezira state alone, represents an unprecedented political anguish that precedes a great lack of morality.
The efforts of the militia, led by its proprietor Hemediti, and their allies to obscure the immorality of their atrocities and portray themselves as peace activists constitute an insult of the Sudanese people as a whole and of logical reasoning!
Attempts to obscure the lack of a principled stance on these crimes and violations amidst the muddled details of a political process whose sole purpose is to enable particular parties to occupy power in the country and to grant them a distorted sovereignty, even if it is over biles of ashes, constitute an effort to dilute these transgressions and coerce the Sudanese into tolerating and forgetting them. Such an endeavor should perpetually be brought to light and expose.
Disregarding any consideration of the Sudanese people's dignity and fundamental rights in their own country is truly shameful.
