Hello friends, neighbors and supporters of our cause across the nation!

I hope you all had a great holiday season and your new year is off to a good start. I am reaching out to provide you with an update on the progress made in stopping Texas-Based Investment Firm, Insight Equity (majority owner of Strauss) from building their MEGA slaughterhouse. The Franklin Community Advocates newsletter, which details some of the progress made in stopping Strauss can be found HERE. 

Currently, FCA's legal challenge is the most pressing matter before us. In full transparency, continued financial support is needed to move forward with the next phase of the lawsuit and stop this slaughterhouse project from moving forward.

Right now, this lawsuit is the only thing standing in the way of the development of a slaughterhouse which will be almost 7 acres in size.  We want to continue to stand up to Strauss and stop them from building.

More importantly, FCA needs your financial support to continue to stand up to Franklin officials that have pushed their own agendas, regardless of the concerns or wishes of their constituents whom they swore to represent. A story some of you reading this from various cities may be able to relate to.
