We Need Your Help - Administration Cutting District-wide educational programs
Hello dearest reader,
I didn't think I would be back again to address the mockery this school places on us students, but here we are. If you haven't heard by now, this school has officially decided to make immense budget cuts to our band program.
The countless members of our programs are done with this mockery, and deem change. Every decision this school makes gets worse and worse for us.
They tell us that they have to change the schedule and affect the entire school already to fix funding cuts, yet we're still seeing them happen.
They tell us that our community is one of the best communities in the country for music, yet we're still the first to go.
They look at our football team, all in all, not that good, and then they see us in how we show the pride of Stow; the same program that has gone to Disney dozens of times, performed at a gator bowl multiple times, made history by performing at a browns game, selected to play at THE Ohio State University, and yet, we're the ones to have the funding cuts.
I ask you to please spare your time and help us fight back. Though we may not be able to do much, we can at least try. Read through the cuts, read through the hundreds of students impacted, and read the words we speak against policy.
So I ask, Why us?
Don't be the problem. Be the solution.
