STOP Cobourg Storm Water Fee Gouge Update

Updates:
1. Thank you to all the people who came out to speak at the CCC to address SW fees concerns with Mayor Cleveland. While he seems very committed to the current formula, the word is getting out that many of our friends and neighbours have been significantly impacted by excessively high fees. 
2. Thanks for sharing and signing the petition. As of this morning we have 407 signatures. It is my intention to present this at the first Town Council Meeting in January. This is tentatively Jan 10.  
3.  My husband and I met Mayor Cleveland personally on Friday to question some statements he made at the Town Hall session on Tuesday and to continue to push our concerns. To summarize, he is very committed to the current formula despite charging individual families excessive and damaging fees. We wonder why he is so locked in?  The formula was passed by the former Town Council, so he could choose to be the hero of the day on this issue. By-laws can be amended!
