Update: New Documents Submitted by the Developer

We wanted to share an important update with everyone who has been supporting our campaign.

The developer has now submitted almost all of the remaining documents to the planning department. Among these is a proposal for an industrial-scale bridge to be constructed over the main drainage ditch that runs through the site. The photo below shows the proposed location. 

This is a significant development. The plans indicate that substantial engineering works would be required to enable access across the drainage channel, raising further questions about the scale and impact of the project on the surrounding area. We are therefore instruction our Highways Engineer to comment on these proposals and unfortunately need once again, to raise funds. We are currently reviewing the newly submitted documents in detail so we can fully understand what is being proposed and what it could mean for the site and the local community. Once we have completed this review, we will share further updates and outline any actions that supporters may be able to take.
