Today this petition reached an important milestone, and has shown us we can get this thing to 10,000. We appreciate the time it takes to sign this thing and it's not an easy sell, really. It's easy for us to ignore our forests, to become complacent in the knowledge that the vast expanse of British Columbia is still filled with loads of forests and parks. But those areas are shrinking rapidly, and industrial forestry is very effective at turning naturally regenerating stands into ecologically barren tree farms. Whole landscapes have been altered, especially around Prince George, Quesnel, and throughout the Cariboo. This is done with glyphosate and it numerous additives that are sprayed liberally on practically every plantation, or wherever there are aspen and birch. This needs to stop. With your help, we can get this petition to a respectable 5 digit situation, and then we can present this to the premier and hopefully get some action taken.
