A decision has been made to close Southall Sports centre.

SCC has been an integral part of the local community in Southall since 2004. It is a facility that is used by thousands of people in the surrounding area, including women, children and disabled people. It contains the only womens only gym in the local area, and the sports hall is used for by disabled people on a regular basis. It has been a refuge for many during the difficult times during COVID 

The decision to close SCC will have a hugely negative impact on the local community. The closure SCC is not just a matter of a gym closing, it is the closure of a community hub and, a hugely valued resource for local residents.
