Sadly during the Festive Season the sled dogs are often forgotten. I‘ve watched it happen every year. As winter moves in temperatures plummet in the North and hundreds of dogs are left outside on a chain in frigid temps ranging from minus 20 to minus -45 and to even -55 below. 

Animal Rights Advocates like myself are not particularly appreciated in the North. Some race enthusiasts have been especially cruel – hacking my first petition which was signed by thousands in good faith, black-balling my book, and maligning my name. I've also acquired a certain degree of PTSD from knowing and watching some of the horror these sentient beings are continually exposed to. But I will always speak on their behalf.
