Thank all of you for signing the petition and thank you to those who came out tonight to the City Council Meeting!

At the time of today's meeting, 128 signatures was the count shared with council. Three Bellaire Rec Center members presented at the start of the meeting. Two and a half hours into the meeting, Bellaire Parks & Rec Director Ryan Smith presented 3 alternative options that included the original increase, half the original increase, and one quarter of the original increase.

All council members then commented. Several proposed holding at the FY24 rates. The largest increase any council member supported was Option 3 for one quarter of the original increase. The Mayor suggested zero increase until Ryan could come up with a more reasonable suggestion that would not exceed Option 3.
