Dear Bellaire Rec Center Members and Community,

Thank you for showing such amazing support for the petition to stop the 2025 Rec Center Rate increase! We made it over 100 and there are only 555 Rec Center members!

The Bellaire City Council meeting is tonight (Monday, December 16, 2024) where the increase will be second on the agenda and a few of us will be speaking. The Rec Center Director is slated to present 3 alternative options and their revenue numbers at the meeting. It would be meaningful if we had a large turnout at the meeting, especially since we have no open play tonight. Come as you are!

If you would like to speak, you can also sign up in-person at the meeting for your right to voice your opinion for 5 minutes. There's so much to say and only 5 minutes per person. The more the merrier aka effective! Looking forward to seeing as many folks there as possible.
