Because the Better Decisions Made Faster Bill may be pushed through the Upper House this week, our group has called a community meeting for this Sunday. Whether the bill is passed, delayed, or pushed into next year, we need to come together as a community and stay connected! 

This bill removes the need for community input on major developments and gives the Planning Minister sweeping power to approve projects without the safeguards that keep our suburbs safe, livable, and properly serviced. Councils across Victoria and the MAV have warned that this is a serious step back for transparency, accountability, and good planning.

Our Sunday meeting is for everyone. If you care about the future of Coburg, Brunswick, or any part of Merri-bek, you are welcome. Residents, renters, families, business owners, local workers, and neighbours from nearby suburbs, all voices matter.
