ERIK BADIA AND JOHN DOYLE Thursday, February 23, 2012 For the second time in less than 24 hours, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a New York City Transit bus. Willie Gonzalez, 25, was crossing 125th St. at St. Nicholas Ave. at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday when he was struck by an M60 bus, police said. Gonzalez was pulled beneath the bus and dragged about 20 feet, witnesses said. Gonzalez, who lives in Harlem, was taken to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, where he died a short time later. “The bus had the green light, the kid walked out in front of it," said one witness who identified himself only as John. He said he saw the accident while sitting in the window of a Popeye's restaurant at that corner. http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-02-23/news/31093060_1_city-bus-fatal-pedestrian-accident-green-light
