A New Jersey Transit bus wound up in the woods after it rear-ended a street sweeper in South Jersey Monday morning. The wreck just after midnight along the eastbound White Horse Pike at Damson Avenue in Galloway Township left the Route 554 bus driver trapped and left three of her passengers hurt, said New Jersey Transit. Police Celebrate With Derailment Survivor They Saved All the injuries were considered minor, said Galloway Township Police. The 59-year-old driver of the street sweeper wasn't hurt. It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the bus driver, identified as Yolanda Jamison of Franklinville, to strike the street sweeper at a red light, go off the roadway, take out a light pole and end up in a wooded area, said investigators. SEPTA Train Strikes, Kills Woman Police cited Jamison for reckless driving, said investigators. The 554 bus takes passengers from Lindenwold station to Atlantic City. The roadway remained closed for about five hours following the wreck.
