When are these killings going to stop. A 69-year-old woman was struck by an MTA bus and killed as she crossed a midtown Manhattan street Thursday, authorities say. The woman, identified as Rochell Wahrman, was crossing West 57th Street midblock between Broadway and Eighth Avenue around 9:40 a.m. when she was hit by an MTA X5 express bus traveling west on West 57th, police said. It's not clear how many people were on the bus at the time of the accident.
