As of today, this issue affecting over 101 families has been broadcast on local news stations, printed on digital media, and today published on the front page of The Reading Chronicle.

This afternoon, I received an email from a representative at Reading Borough Council, inviting me to their Policy Committee meeting on April 8th, to put forward this petition in person. I have been given five minutes to speak.

On behalf of these 101 families, thank you for your support in signing, sharing and promoting this petition.

We have not achieved 'victory' yet. But it is reassuring to know we have the support of so many people, who share the belief that to make things better for all, you can't make things worse for some.

Please keep sharing, as we have until midday 27th March to submit this formally to the council.
