Zoom Meeting this Wednesday

Eeeks!  That's me!  Hello Everyone!

So firstly thanks to all who have signed this petition and all who are going to!  (Please keep sharing, it makes such a difference and proves just how big a deal this Council rorting is - Silence is acquiescence to our rulers.) So, we've been stuck on 406 signatures for a few days, so it would be so great of we tipped the 500 mark!

Anyway, the leaders of the Sunshine Coast Airbnb Community (Facebook Space) are having a Zoom Meeting this Thursday, I hope to see you there and if you can't make it, I'll update you on Thursday. And they have asked me to speak at the meeting. And to make a couple of short videos prior to get everyone on the same page. The photo is a still from the first video.

The idea is; 'What next?' So everyone is angry about this, but what are we going to do about it? Well, without stealing my own thunder, I hope to offer a path forward, strategically and tactically. The strategy is to start changing the image and understanding of PHoSTRA (like Airbnb) to the General Public and the Community. Tactically to bombard our pollies at all levels on all levels!

I suspect it will be the first of many Zoom meetings and I hope some real meetings where we get some of our paid representatives to speak for us, or against us - to justify these egregious rorts (Hecklers welcome!)

So, in quite a real way, in terms of People-Power, the ball starts rolling on Wednesday! Exciting.
