Get Ready For the Contract

My fellow union officials who "negotiate" our soon-to-be expired Collective Bargaining Agreement ("Contract") cannot be trusted to do the right thing without pressure from the members. Please contact the presidents and tell them:

1. Do not sign an extension or make permanent the Paid Sick Leave waiver found in Article 15.13
2. Do not compromise any part of Short-Term Disability, "Seven Day Sick Pay" (so-called Sick Book).
3. Establish non-punitive Paid Sick Leave as per City of Chicago Municipal Code 6-130.
