The ATU Local 308 president has announced "Contract Proposal Meetings" for this year. I encourage all members to demand we be have Paid Sick Leave benefits. When the presidents say "we have to give up the Sick Book" for it, tell them that according to CTA Administrative Procedure 1009, the managers have the same "Sick Book" benefit in addition to Paid Sick Leave. But according to AP 1010, we only get the Short-Term Disability "Sick Book." So if it's good for them, it's good for us!
