While house Republicans seem to have signed a tentative deal with the White House, that essentially accomplishes nothing other than rubber stamp recent massive uncontrolled spending, there is still some hope.

Recently, Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has publicly attacked the deal.

Hopefully, with such prominent dissent house leadership may feel pressured to renegotiate for a better deal.

For now the most we can do is encourage others to join us in demanding sensible spending.
