Tonight, we hit two massive milestones in this movement.
First, this community has officially passed 50,000 signatures in less than two weeks. That’s an incredible surge, and it proves what we already knew: people are tired of watching predators walk free through plea deals and broken systems.
Second, Oklahoma State Representative J.J. Humphrey just went on Banfield on NewsNation, calling for a grand jury investigation into how the Jesse Mack Butler case, and others like it, were handled in Stillwater and Payne County.
He didn’t hold back. Humphrey said judges could face indictments, that the case “looks like favoritism all day long,” and that “you can’t make this stuff up.” He’s now working with both Republican and Democratic lawmakers to uncover what he believes is systemic corruption in that area.
You can watch his full interview here:

That means accountability is finally on the horizon.
I’m also in touch with Rep. Humphrey directly and will be having him live on YouTube in the next couple of days to talk about this further. As soon as the date and link are confirmed, I’ll post them here so you can watch and participate.
But we can’t let up now.
We’re on track to hit 100,000 signatures before the end of October — and every share tonight gets us one step closer.
👉 Please share this petition with one other person.
One friend. One coworker. One family member. That’s all it takes to double our reach overnight.
Together, we’re showing lawmakers what accountability looks like.
Thank you for standing with me, and for standing up for every survivor who deserves better.
