URGENT HACKNEY UPDATE: Hackney have started replying to statutory consultation responses. They have decided to overrule all objections and start charging on 10th June this year. We are as angry about this as you are but we may have a chance to stop them. To do this we need your help urgently!
If you responded to the consultation last July/August please find and read your consultation response alongside the reply from Hackney and check - have they responded to all of your objections and the alternatives you suggested?
Each email from Hackney is different and includes their specific responses to your objections. We need to see as many examples as possible where they haven't addressed your objections!
They are required by law to respond to every point of objection, and give reasons for not adopting suggested alternatives. If they haven't done so then they may have broken the law.
If you think Hackney haven't responded to any of the specific points you made then please send your consultation response and the reply you got from Hackney to save.london.motorcycling@gmail.com so we can share this with our lawyers.
