Hackney Council are putting forward new charges for motorcycle parking for approval on Monday 27th March

They have made no changes to the charges for residents or business permits. The charge for solo motorcycle bays has been reduced from around £60 to £10 a day. While this is a reduction it's still far too high and means a commuter will spend £2,300 a year to park in Hackney. They will also only allow all day commuter parking in Shoreditch and Hoxton. This is clearly completely unreasonable.
