Thanks to everyone who signed the petition!

The Cleghorn-Anderson residents are still fighting for answers - Villa Rica leaders are avoiding a direct discussion about the development project with some asking residents why they want representation in meetings. City officials haven’t offered an alternate plan to the original one (temporarily on hold) that involved taking several Cleghorn-Anderson homes and impacting many others with no offer of compensation. For all anyone in Cleghorn-Anderson knows, the city is still moving forward.

Here are two ways you can help:

  1. Spread the word and help us get more signatures by sharing this petition in your networks.
  2. If you have any media contacts, please share this petition. It’s unbelievable that Black-owned properties are still being targeted for unjust takings. The developer also has a reputation of strong-arming communities into development deals and disregarding resident opposition.
