Thank you to everyone who’s supported this petition so far. I want to share a little more about why I started this:

I have my daughters 10 nights out of every fortnight. I work full-time, cover all their medical, school, and extra-curricular expenses including upcoming braces for both girls and still, I’ve been told I have to pay my ex child support because I earn more.

He contributes nothing extra and refuses to help with the real costs of raising our kids.

This system is punishing the working parent and rewarding the one who does nothing and it’s simply not fair.

We need a child support system that reflects actual contributions, not just income and overnight percentages.
