Breaking news is that Sajid Javid has just resigned from the cabinet. The news cites the reasoning behind the resignation is Boris Johnsons 'lack of integrity'.

Given this breaking news, I will continue to keep this petition live as the policy will have already been drafted and begun the initial implementations. Until I officially hear that this policy has been scrapped by whom ever takes over in the role of Health Secretary, things remain as they are.

We need to push ahead with letting the NHS know that our private details and medical files are not for sale or for access by anyone other than those we consent access to. The integrity of our files and privacy must be kept intact.
