The lack of response by the New York State Public Service Commission (NYSPSC), since 2010, to consumer complaints about electronic utility meters (includes “smart”, AMR, ERT, etc.) and lack of response to consumer requests for safer mechanical analog meters. 2. Any accredited laboratory testing of the specific electronic utility meters that were approved for use by the NYSPSC and have been installed in New York State since the early 2000s. 3. What testing procedures the NYSPSC relied upon to determine electronic utility meter fire and electrical safety, health hazards from exposure to electrical and/or microwave radiation emissions, meter accuracy, privacy protection and cyber-security risks to New York State residents. 4. The process by which the NYSPSC allowed the removal of approved analog meters and authorized the forced installation of electronic utility meters by utility companies on private properties, without consumer consent. 5. The evaluation process by which the NYSPSC approved rate hikes, since the early 2000’s, that includes the deployment of electronic utility meters and the process by which the NYSPSC evaluates the financial costs to consumers from the roll-out of electronic utility meters and a “smart” meter infrastructure. 6. All records of communications between the NYSPSC and utility companies about electronic utility meters since January 1, 2000. Utility providers and the NYSPSC are forcing New Yorkers to either accept dangerous, privacy invading and costly electronic utility meters or be without utility service.
