Petition updateStop Montgomery County Public Schools' Anti-Black, Racist Culture
We Have the Right To Stand
Black MCPSUnited States

May 30, 2024
Apparently it has ruffled the feathers of some “distinguished folks” in our county that we chose to engage in civil disobedience to elevate our demands to Montgomery County Public Schools and The Montgomery County Board of Education.
They should NEVER again celebrate nor reference Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King was neither docile or passive. He was radical for the time that he lived in and a number of Black people did not support him and felt he was rocking the boat.
We reject the narrative of today's depiction of Dr. King along with the narrative that we are too aggressive in fighting the sacrifice of Black children in schools.
