We need your help NOW to make our final plea to save Cascade Falls and the Wilke Glen in Osceola, WI.

MN-DOT is in its final evaluation phase for the new MN-243 bridge alignment across the St. Croix River to Osceola. Once MN-DOT makes its preferred recommendation there's no turning back - even with a public review session and public comments following their decision.

I urge you to send a short message NOW directly to the Minnesota Transportation Commissioner, Nancy Daubenberger at nancy.daubenberger@state.mn.us. A suggested message could be something like...

As you consider options for the new MN-243 bridge alignment and design, there must be no retaining walls that interrupt the natural beauty of Cascade Falls and the Wilke Glen in Osceola. This historic area is the #1 tourist attraction in all of Polk County, WI and a huge economic contributor to the region. You must preserve this important natural asset for generations to come.
