Hey guys,

A few things to update you on tonight. Firstly, I'm closing this petition down now. Thank you all for the support you've given and the work you did with emailing Ofcom to try to get the mid-contract price rises banned. They've changed the rules now to make the price rises clearer and more certain, by forcing companies to show the exact price rises, in pounds and pence, that will occur during the contract term before you sign. This is a great improvement, and we'll be back in a year or so to call for a ban on mid-contract price rises altogether. So, thank you again for all your support, if you want to keep following my work with the UK's regulators, please subscribe to my website TheRegulatorGuy.co.uk.

I've started a new petition, it's been discovered that we've overpaid £4bn in excess profits to energy network companies and I'm calling on Ofgem to give us our money back, the same way they gave energy suppliers extra money in 2023 to account for lost revenue in 2022. Please can you sign and share the petition around if you agree with the ask: https://www.change.org/Give_Us_Our_Money_Back_Ofgem.

Finally, I just wanted to remind you all that you can save over £200 a year on your energy bills just by switching to a fixed rate tariff, there are some incredible deals out at the moment, so have a look and see if you can save money on your bills before the price cap hits. The link in this paragraph will take you to Uswitch so you can compare and save.

Thank you again everyone.
