Article (Short read): The increased price cap, how it impacts different usage households, how to save up to £250 per year or £20 per month on your energy bills in 2025

Article: Black Friday deals on Broadband, Samsung Galaxy S24 and Boiler Cover

Evening everyone,

Ofgem made their annoucement 3 days early and at 7am, so I've put together a quick explanation of the increase, how it impacts different households, the profits energy suppliers are likely to see (over £1bn next year!) and a quick explanation of the new cheapest tariffs that have been announced by suppliers today.

Give it a quick read, if you're still on a standard variable or default tariff, make sure you look into switching as soon as possible as energy is going to be more expensive in 2025 than it has been in 2024.

I've also included an article above with Black Friday deals from Virigin Media, Samsung and Home Emergency Assist, these are really good deals that warrant a little look if you're in the market for these products. The boiler cover is only £2.12 a month, so its definitely worth it as we're now in the cold weather seasons, your boilers are working harder and more prone to breakdowns.

Thanks all, have a great weekend,
