Uswitch: OVO and EDF tariffs £150 lower than price cap - SWITCH AND SAVE*
Video update: THE HUGE ENERGY UPDATE
!! Ofgem Consultation on SoLR Levy Offset
Boiler insurance from £2.44 per month
Hi everyone,
Hope you're having a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. I know this is a broadband/mobile phone petition but I've been working all week on the energy stuff as there are a lot of changes coming and I just wanted to keep you guys updated so you don't miss out on the huge savings available on your energy bills at the moment.
Here's a quick run through of the links above. You should all know that OVO and EDF are now offering tariffs that are even cheaper than the British Gas one from earlier this week, £150 cheaper than the price cap change on Tuesday! Click the top link and switch today if you can, it only takes 5 mintues and saves you £150-£200 per year on your energy bills.
Please, please, please, help people. If you know anyone that has lost the winter fuel payment this year but aren't likely to be proactive enough to seek cheaper deals, send them my blog or video above or, even better, go round and help them switch. These tariffs are £150 cheaper than the price cap, thats half of what they've lost from the winter fuel payments, which is a good step toward helping themselves. So please, spread the word on this, it's important we all switch to cheap fixed rate tariffs
I have a lot of announcements and information, it might be easier to just watch the video above and then get to actioning this stuff. I'm going to send this update again on Sunday, as I know a lot of you probably have plans tonight and aren't focused on the energy guy emailing you.
For those of you that prefer reading, here's a summary of the links:
- top link is a link to Uswitch, to get your cheap energy deal. We should all be moving away from variable tariffs and onto fixed tariffs, these two being offered by OVO and EDF are significantly cheaper than the cap and the upcoming caps in 2025, so they are going to be best for 99% of people.
- The second link is an explanatory blog, discussing the differences between the OVO and EDF tariffs.
- The third link is a video update on all of my energy announcements for this week, there's a lot, its a 16 minute video but its worth the watch.
- The fourth link explains what Ofgem were consulting and how you can get involved.
- The fifth link explains a partnership deal I have which gets you boiler insurance for as little as £2.44 per month.
If you guys have any questions or comments on all of this, please email me at Richard@TheRegulatorGuy.co.uk, i'll try my best to get back to you as soon as possible. If I've missed your email in the last couple of weeks, please send me a chaser, I've apparently accidentally filed some of them away with the Ofgem consultation emails we've all been sending.
Thanks everyone, have a great weekend!
Richard Winstone
