The planning committee meeting was an emotional rollercoaster but we got a unanimous refusal for the application. 
We are so grateful for all the support especially from the councillors who showed up to speak against this with us. 
not only has our efforts saved Three Gates Road from this, but it has also helped to avoid this kind of application being approved in other small villages in the UK. 
This refusal has preserved peoples homes and their right to live peacefully and also stoped homes being devalued. 
The plans put forward for the building of a drive thru have been fully REJECTED and McDonald’s have withdrawn applications for the lighting and the signage.
