Say No To McDonalds in front of peoples homes in Cowes;

Now is the time to object to this proposed planning application. The deadline is 23rd January 2026.

It is in totally the wrong place and will cause huge distress to all local residents and already has done.

Objections can be based on your own feelings about this location or McDonalds, but also the detrimental impact on local homes, traffic issues, vermin problems, anti social behaviours, light pollution, noise pollution, smells, all 24 hours a day.

The impact on traffic flow and potential accidents will be huge. There will also be a massive change to the outlook from homes, the change in landscape and the impact on local wildlife. At the moment the site is full of small animals, it has a very large Badger set and is home to foxes, birds and all number of other wildlife. At least whats left after the developers poisoned the land with sprays and tried to chase out the badgers, luckily animals and birds etc.. will come back and have done.
