There are many angles we can use to object when planning is submitted!

McDonald's applications for planning permission are sometimes denied due to concerns about public health, road safety, and the potential for increased littering. Councils may also reject applications due to local planning policies, concerns about noise and light pollution, or the impact on nearby residents. In some cases, McDonald's has faced legal challenges and appeals from local communities, who argue that the proposed development would negatively impact the area. (Google)

The proposed development would fail to provide a good living environment for local residents.

Please research your thoughts and possible outcomes- they can be tricky to deal with. There are articles stating that McD’s have had Doctors ague their corner on their healthy food options!

“An investigation has found McDonald's has overturned multiple council planning refusals by citing its healthier menu options and community contributions in appeals for new restaurants
According to the British Medical Journal (BMJ), McDonald's lodged 14 appeals with the Planning Inspectorate since 2020, including one in Mousehold Lane, Norwich. It won 11 cases, lost one, and has two pending”. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ce8vdjd91z4o.amp
