Dear Friends of Tice's Meadow,

McDonald's have submitted an amended planning application for their 24/7 drive-through restaurant in the middle of the Tice's Meadow & Tongham Ponds Site of Nature Conservation Interest.

They've made very minor changes and tried to address 3 of our 16 reasons for objecting. Tried, but failed in our opinion. McDonald's have completely ignored all objections relating to biodiversity, including those raised by Surrey Wildlife Trust.

Due to the amendments, Guildford Borough Council are now re-opening the planning application for public comments until 19th March. If you're not one of the 133 people who have already objected, please consider doing so via the planning portal.
