Last week we were delighted and surprised to discover that the planned cruise ship terminal is dead in the water when Danny Thorpe, leader of Greenwich Council, tweeted:
@DanLThorpe Following a meeting between @Royal_Greenwich & @MorganStanley last week, I have just received confirmation that the #enderbywharf cruise liner terminal in #Greenwich is no longer going to be developed and will not be built out as part of the scheme. 13/11/2018 21.03
Soon after Morgan Stanley contacted us at #NoToxicPort to reiterate the good news.
Now we've had time to reflect, we thought we should say a huge thanks to all the people involved in the campaign.
If your name isn’t mentioned please forgive us. If you signed our petition, helped with crowd funding, gave out leaflets, or even followed us on social media, thanks again.
