Today will go down for jobseekers as a day to remember for many years to come.

I spent the majority of the day distributing this petition to universities and Government Departments all across the country via email with the aim to obtain more signatures and be one step closer to victory.

The message that I sent is written below in italics:

To whom it may concern,

I started a petition in late February 2024 calling on Centrelink, Workforce Australia and their recruitment agencies to stop manipulating jobseekers and abolish all mandatory activity requirements.

The petition tells a story of how a young woman was deeply affected by the activity requirements, particularly the hugely negative impact they had on her physical and mental health.

So far, I have had 42 people residing from all across Australia sign the petition.  I am distributing this petition to universities and Government departments all across the country to obtain more signatures, fight this to victory and give jobseekers back their freedom.

I have a strong desire for this petition to go viral across all faculties within your Government department/all student and staff faculties within all your university campuses.  Please take a couple of minutes to add your name and share the petition on social media simply by copying and pasting the link below into the search bar on your internet browser:
