More good news - three LB Council members have put out public statements saying they will be voting NO on Item 29 at Tuesday's Council meeting. We already knew Councilwoman Allen was on our side; her fb post has spread the message further.

Councilwoman Kerr put out a written statement. She had voted FOR the change to public comments in September, but has now changed her position and will be voting NO!

Councilwoman Duggan was against the proposed change in September. She put out a statement in the LB District 3 Newsletter explaining her opposition. (photo attached.)

Also worth noting, I sent emails to all Long Beach City Council members informing them that their names are featured not only in this petition as key decision makers, but also in the NBC4 news story. I sent an email to Congressman Robert Garcia asking for his local support and sharing links to the petition and the NBC4 article which mentions him.
