As big corporations like Manulife, Blue Cross and Loblaws try to profit off of your health care using American Style tactics like 'Preferred Partner Network' contracts, the press and our leaders seem to be going quiet.  And ultimately this silence is at your expense.

The outrageous effort to force you to buy prescriptions at their drugstores, in the recent Manulife/Loblaws contract, brought this dystopian plan to the publics attention.  

It was YOUR outrage based on one small part of this plan forced Manulife to back off of this one element, but Corporate Canada including Manulife are marching forward with these American and anti-competition contracts to profitize your healthcare!

This small, but important win seems to have placated far too many, the public, government officials and of course the media. Don't let them silence you.

Don't let big corporations use your healthcare to line their pockets. You deserve quality healthcare of your choosing, and if not free, certainly affordable to all Canadians.  

Caring for each other is core to the Canadian ethos.  Demand our government put a stop to this aggressive attack on our healthcare system.  The government MUST say NO to anti-competitive contracts like 'Preferred Network Provider' contracts.

We are the verge of being simply too big and too loud for our leaders to ignore us.  We have just won one small battle - now let's win the war for Canadian Healthcare!
