The former RAF Linton on Ouse is not NEAR to the village. It is not CLOSE to the village. It is IN the village.
The one entrance is IN the middle of the village. Family homes are ADJACENT and share boundary fences with the site. A toddler park ADJOINS, separated by a flimsy wire fence.
The Home Office propose utilising the former RAF Linton on Ouse to home 1200 male asylum seekers. The reality is that they will be housed IN our village. Not close to it. Not near to it.
