CALL TO ACTION
Andy Burnham's office is currently arranging a tour around the UK to meet the public and hear about what actually matters to people. He is said to be in "listening mode". So let's invite him to Linton on Ouse! He can see with his own eyes what a terrible idea it is to place an asylum processing center in the village! You can contact the Prime Minister by email, Facebook or via an online contact form:
- Email: andy.burnham.mp@parliament.uk
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BurnhamGM
- Complete a contact form: https://contact.no10.gov.uk/
It would also be useful if you could write to local Labour MP's and Councillors and ask them to invite the Prime Minister to Linton on Ouse, details below:
- David Skaith (Labour) York and North Yorkshire region Mayor. mayor@yorknorthyorks-ca.gov.uk
- Jo Coles (Labour) Deputy Mayor for Fire & Policing York & North Yorkshire combined authority. info@northyorkshire-pfcc.gov.uk
- Luke Charters MP (Labour) York Outer (didn't sign joint letter) luke.charters.mp@parliament.uk
- Rachael Maskell MP (Labour) York Central rachael.maskell.mp@parliament.uk
- Alec Shelbrooke MP (Conservative) Wetherby & Easingwold. alec.shelbrooke.mp@parliament.uk
- Keir Mather (Labour) Selby
keir.mather.mp@parliament.uk - Alison Hume (Labour) Scarborough & Whitby (didn't sign joint letter)
