HELLO EVERYONE! Thank you for your support! Please keep sharing the petition we are still fighting this horrible NIGHTMARE!

I have several updates to share with you! 

The developer has made changes to his plan but it’s not enough and still has the lagoon and retail and sounds like a bait and switch to me. He’s renaming it Waterside now! As if a name will make a difference! It’s still a CEMENT POND and we don’t want it!! 
There’s a meeting tonight at Huntersville Town Hall (101 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville, NC) and he will be presenting his new plan. Please come to the meeting if you can and sign up to speak and oppose this plan. The land cannot and should not be rezoned for this horrendous development and it needs to be denied! The planning board has denied it and voted 6-2 against it at the last meeting on June 20th. The Commissioners need to do the same! 

We have also uncovered a lot of information about the developer Jake Palillo and how he tries to run the town and how he treats the town officials of not just Huntersville but Cornelius also. We have many emails that he’s sent and we obtained through the Freedom of Information Act and are sharing them and much more on our Facebook Group called Huntersville Unmasked. Please join the group and support our cause to stop this NIGHTMARE. 

Lastly, several people have asked over the last couple of months how they can help us further and a very kind neighbor has set up a Go Fund Me for Noelle and myself to help with our defense against the frivolous lawsuit that Palillo filed against us. Please help us if you can. We have almost 5500 signatures on the petition, if you can donate $5 or $10 dollars to help us fight this insanity we would be grateful! Please share and donate if you are able to.
