How Parents are Fighting School Fee VAT: The Tide is Turning

Hi All,

Last Friday, I met with Christine Cunniffe (Executive Headteacher, LVS Ascot) and Sarah Cunnane (Head of Media and Communications, Independent Schools Council) for a series called LVS Perspectives.

We discussed the role of independent school parents, which came to the fore with the fight against the Government’s education tax.  I explained how we got here, and how the tide is turning as the Government's own data shows the devastating effects this tax has caused.  Christine Cunniffe and Sarah Cunnane shared their reflections on how schools are managing this and supporting parents.

We also talked about the next steps for the Education Not Taxation team and how parents like you can help.
