A group of Christian schools launched an appeal against the Government’s tax on education.  Their hearing will be held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London today and tomorrow (20-21 January).

Christian Concern, an advocacy group, write that the appeal is being brought by headteachers and families from independent Christian schools across the UK, including Emmanuel School in Derby, The Branch Christian School in Yorkshire, The King’s School in Hampshire, and Wyclif Independent Christian School in South Wales.  The case is supported by lawyers from the Christian Legal Centre.

Please show your support on social media and however you can, civilly and politely.  A win for these parents is a win for us all as it shows the harms this policy is causing.

Finally, the Education Not Taxation campaign has updated their website to reflect the continued work it's doing.  This volunteer group continues the fight against this tax, showing the harms and fighting to strengthen choice for all children.
