Dear All,
On behalf of the Education Not Taxation Campaign, I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are deeply grateful for your support through 2024 in our fight against Labour's Education Tax.
I hope you all can make the most of the holiday season, getting rest with friends and family. Our fight continues in 2025 as VAT takes effect -- and we expect legal action to follow.
As noted in our last update, we do have one request for your children in particular. Please ask them to consider writing to the Children's Commissioner -- whose job is to advocate for ALL children (including children in independent schools). We urge them to share their concerns about this tax and the effect it's having on themselves, their friends and their schools--ask them to be polite and sincere. Children's Commissioners are expected to answer letters (emails) from children, and we need Commissioners' views on this tax.
Dame Rachel de Souza is the Children's Commissioner in England, and your children can write her though this form:

Nicola Killean is the Children and Young People's Commissioner in Scotland, and your children can write her through this form:

Rocio Cifuentes is the Children's Commissioner in Wales, and your children can write her by email commissioner@childcomwales.org.uk or through this form:

Chris Quinn is the Commissioner for Children and Young People in Northern Ireland, and your children can reach him

Please let us know any responses you receive! You can email us on mail@educationnottaxation.org
Thank you again and we wish you a wonderful holiday season!
With warm wishes and best regards,
Tony Perry
