Well the good news is that the petition you signed calling on Northamptonshire's Council (NNC) to listen to its communities worked. The developers Masterplan - which would have seen a huge area of good quality farm land destroyed, 13,500+ extra cars per day through a small town already overloaded with traffic, and wildlife destroyed - was never accepted by NNC. 

The bad news is that whilst that should have been the end of it, the developers are now trying to bypass the democratic process. They have held private meetings with councillors and have now submitted a planning application with the sole intent of carrying through with their Masterplan - completely disregarding the local communities. 

We've looked at their plans in details, they are full of mistakes, misrepresentations, and significantly underplays the harm their plans will do - now just today, but for subsequent generations.

I now need you to sign a new petition calling for their planning application to be rejected and for community democracy to prevail.
