Since our campaign began the number of objections to the proposed plan to destroy hundreds of acres of farming land and cover it with warehouses has carried in growing.

The CPRE recently wrote to NNC and said that the proposed plan was "not sensible strategic planning" and that it was "greenwashing at its worst".

The elected councillors and leadership of NNC has gone into hiding, refusing to respond to emails, refusing to attend meetings, and now even refusing to meet with the local Members of Parliament. It is a very bad day for our democracy when the local authority refuses to meet the electorate.
