Bought or not bought yet?

Last night I attended the Parish Council Finance meeting as a member of the public. Unfortunately, the update to 'New Premises' was in Part 2 of the agenda which is exclusively for Parish Councillors. I did receive copies of the finances including all expenditure and receipts (but not capital balances) and all the salaries of all the staff (which you might have expected to be kept private). Anyway, there has been an announcement that the public will have input to the Neighbourhood Plan which will shape the area and it implies that The Police Station hasn't yet been purchased and no deal agreed. It also suggests that the input of the public could shape that decision. What hasn't been published are the relevant dates of when the police station decision will be made and when the consultation for the Neighbourhood Plan will start, so we can't be sure we will have any input. The Police seem to think the deal has been done.
