Hi Everyone and Thank You.

I set up this petition to gather signatures in preparation for Boxing day 24. I never expected to be looking at 1000 signatures in Just 4 days. With a response like this we can not only put pressure on Town, District and County Councils but start to look at government itself.

It is long known that Hunts across the UK ignore the Law, and that the Law on the Hunting is specifically weak, to make Policing difficult. This needs to stop. Well done, Scotland for your action. We need new legislation in the UK to support our police to deal with this problem.

With one of the named Tiverton Hunts recently Killing a pregnant Alpaca on a Yoga retreat, before continuing regardless with further illegally hunting. Local hunts leaving their own Hounds to die after being hit while hunting across dual carriageways and endangering the public. Hunt monitors being assaulted and having the cameras they use to evidence illegal activity stolen. As well as weekly if not daily evidence of illegal hunting and illegal activity at meetings, we must act to spotlight this activity and show the public have had enough of this barbaric “sport”.
